The index has reached 204,9 bln hryvnias
In Ukraine the turnover of retail trade for January-March of 2014 made up 204,908 bln hryvnias, what is 7,7% more than the figures for the similar period of the previous year, the RBK-Ukraine reports based on the data form the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The largest turnover was recorded in Kyiv (27,803 bln hryvnias) and in Donetsk oblast (20,659 bln hryvnias), the lowest – in Sevastopol city (2,358 bln hryvnias) and Chernovtsy oblast (2,717 bln hryvnias).
Meantime, the volume of retail trade turnover of enterprises both engaged in retail trading and food and drinks catering made up 100,333 bln hryvnias, what is 4,7% more as compared with the figures for January-March of 2013.
In March 2014 this index reached 35,636 bln hryvnias, what is 0,5% more as compared with March 2013, and by 6,6% higher than the figures for February this year.
The turnover in catering market (including the volume of retail trade made by individual entrepreneurs) in January-March of 2014 increased by 2,2% on year-on-year basis and made up 5,490 bln hryvnias. At the same time the wholesale turnover of enterprises in January-March of 2014 totaled 210,4 bln hryvnias, what is 2% less than the figures for the three months of 2013.
