More and more passengers use the system. In 2013 almost 5.2 million passengers - 8.5% of the total used the service of reservation and ticketing for trains online, the press service of the UkrRailways informs.
336.5 thousand tickets are issued for 12 days in January 2014 through a worldwide network.
From the start of the booking and registration service for train tickets, from 2008 to 12 of January 2014, over 8.2 million travel documents were issued using the World Wide Web. The trend of growing popularity of services continues every year - in 2009 the passengers got via the Internet about 83.5 thousand tickets, in 2010 - 132.5 thousand, in 2011 - 693.9 thousand, in 2012 - 2.1 million tickets.
Also, there is a growing number of issued electronic tickets. Since the introduction of online service 395.5 thousand electronic tickets were sold through a selling system of the official website of Railways. Passengers with printed e-tickets can go for in the train passing the railway cash. Passengers can buy these tickets exclusively through the Railways site (booking.uz.gov.ua).
