Ukraine and Poland agree on the first preliminary exchange of 160 thousand permits for road haulages in 2019, the Ministry of Infrastructure reported as per results of the session of Ukrainian-Polish Mixed Commission for International Road Haulages, which was held on October 10-11.
“The parties will conduct the next session of the mixed commission in the first half of 2019, where it will be decided to set the final quota”, the Ministry of Infrastructure stated.
In particular, the universal permits, categories Euro-1, Euro-2, Euro-5 – 10 ths each, Euro-3 – 50 ths, Euro-4 – 20 ths, and transit categories Euro-3 – 25 ths and Euro-5 – 35 ths.
According to the message, Ukraine also agreed on obtaining other 10 ths additional permits (8 ths transit and 2 ths universal) that will increase their number up to 216.5 ths.
The Ministry of Infrastructure noted that the Polish party insisted again on decreasing the quota 2019 to 130 ths; however, it does not meets the needs of Ukrainian carriers.
