Increase by a quarter
For 9 months of the current year the taxpayers subject to the simplified tax system have paid to the government coffer around 5.1 billion hryvnias of the single tax. As compared to a similar period a year ago, tax deductions have grown by a quarter, the press-office of the National Fiscal Service reports.
Individual entrepreneurs have paid 3.6 billion hryvnias for the said period, or 29.4%, as compared with the figures in the previous year.
Owing to the deductions made by legal entities subject to the simplified tax system, the treasury was refilled by 1.4 billion hryvnias, as compared with a similar period of 2013; taking into account that a number of legal entities subject to the simplified tax system have grown by around 17%.
It is worth noting that pursuant to the Tax Code of Ukraine, the single tax is paid by the taxpayers of І and ІІ groups not later than the 20th day (inclusive) of the current month, as regards taxpayers of other groups subject to the simplified tax system – within 10 calendar days after the deadline for submitting tax returns for a fiscal quarter.
