The biggest amount is VAT receipts
From January through October of 2014 the taxpayers registered in Kyiv city paid totalling 29.5 billion hryvnias in taxes, or 4% more as compared with the figures for a similar period of 2013, according to the Main Directorate of the Ukraine’s National Fiscal Service in Kyiv city.
The tax receipts that help set up the budget amount to:
– over ten billion hryvnias in VAT, from sale of products manufactured in Ukraine;
– over nine billion hryvnias in individual income tax;
– over four billion hryvnias in income tax;
– over 1 billion hryvnias in land tax.
Besides, 323 million hryvnias in excise tax on goods produced in Ukraine have been paid to the government coffer with 201 million hryvnias in natural gas surcharge applicable to consumers of all types of ownership, etc.
The taxpayers in Kyiv city have paid 22 billion hryvnias to the government treasury since the beginning of the year.
The municipal coffer has been replenished by over 7 billion hryvnias for 10 months of 2014, that is nearly 5 % or 343 million hryvnias more as compared with a similar period a year ago.
