The Ukrainians are still taking out their money from bank accounts
Total money left in the hryvnia accounts opened with the Ukrainian banks stood at 362.9 billion hryvnias in November of 2014, or 1.4% less as compared with the figures for the previous month, the report titled Main Tendencies in the Currency & Credit Market of Ukraine containing the data for November of 2014 says, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports.
“Total deposits in national currency in November, as compared with the figures for a similar month a year ago, dropped by 1.4% (since the year beginning - by 14.1%) – up to 362.9 2 billion hryvnias”, - the document says.
The account balances of legal persons have decreased by 1.2% within a month (since the year beginning - by 4.9%) – up to 160.5 billion hryvnias, mainly due to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine’s transactions. The account balances of natural persons during this period have decreased by 1.5% (since the year beginning - by 18.9%) – up to 202.5 billion hryvnias.
Total deposits in foreign currencies for a month have reduced by 8.6% (since the year beginning - by 29.6%) – up to 21.7 billion dollars, including the money taken out by natural persons - by 17.5% (since the year beginning - by 4.8%) – up to 7.4 billion dollars, while account balances of legal persons have increased by 3.2% for a month (since the year beginning - by 38.0%) – up to 14.2 billion dollars.
