Throughout 2014, the accredited Public Key Certification Centre at the National Fiscal Service issued around 1.9 million digital signature certificates. Most of them – 1 million certificates, were issued to natural persons. The legal persons obtained 858.1 thousand pieces, the press-office of the NFS reports.
Last year, clients who used the services provided by the Centre numbered around 633.3 thousand people, including almost 445 thousand natural persons and 189 thousand legal persons.
So far, the Centre has issued around 3.2 million public key certificates with enhanced privacy for data.
These services help embed electronic reporting, and taxpayers can use digital signatures issued by the Centre for on-line reporting to the fiscal authorities, to the government bodies of statistics and Pension Fund.
It is worth noting a free-of-charge electronic signature can be obtained at any branch of the accredited Public Key Certification Centre.
