PJSC Agrarian Fund has joined the Prozorro e-government and is going to soon hold the first trade auction, the press-office of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food informs.
Under instruction given by Minister for Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksy Pavlenko, businesses and companies overseen by the Ministry should move to the electronic public procurement system. MAPF and state-owned enterprise Ukrspirt has already implemented this practice, other companies are also acceding to the system now.
The e-public procurement has been designed using the Georgian model of electronic reverse auctions, the goal of which is to fight corruption and increase savings in public procurement. Actually, this system is the software to auto selecting suppliers of goods and services.
For several months, the MAPF has carried out auctions (without a tender procedure) via the NEWTEND site designed using the best global practices. The system protects privacy and data security, checks contractors’ data.
