Ukraine and NATO have signed the work flow chart on defense technical cooperation. The document has been signed by the first deputy of the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleh Hladkovskyi and the deputy of the NATO Secretary General for Defense Investment Patrick Aroy, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“Signing the work flow chart is the logical continuation of multi-year cooperation in this sphere and aimed at development of practical aspects of realization of priorities, defined in the Common application regarding strengthening the defense technical cooperation of Ukraine with NATO, which was signed on the 22th September 2015 as part of the visit of NATO Secretary General to Ukraine”, the message says.
The document defines main cooperation activities in interests of development of opportunities of Ukraine in the sphere of armament and military equipment, achievement of compatibility with NATO forces in this sphere, and the provision of help to Ukraine regarding transition to technical standards of the Alliance.
