The Speaker of Rada urges politicians to stabilize situation.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine believes that Ukraine is going to face serious political crisis due to the statement of resignation of Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius, said Groisman as per results of meeting with Head of EP Needs Assessment Mission Pat Cox, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“Concerning resignation (Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius). It is evident that we are going to face serious political crisis and I believe that this crisis should be resolved by representatives of political parties jointly with the President in order to stabilize situation”, Groisman said.
In his opinion, the investigation of said facts of pressure on MEDT work by the first deputy of the chairman of BPP faction will become the challenge for NABU.
“I believe that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau should be public, accurate and rapid to respond. If any charges, filed against Kononenko, are proved, he should be held responsible. I think that this is a challenge for Anti-Corruption Bureau”, - Groisman said.
It should be reminded that BPP will not endorse resignation of Abromavicius before resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers.
