Fitch financial analysts intimidate with loan freezes, if the minority government comes to power.
The governmental crisis in Ukraine can negatively affect the decision of the International Monetary Fund on the provision of financial aid to the country, Fitch Ratings reports.
The message says that the pressure between President Petro Poroshenko and Prime-Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk, simultaneously with influence of corruption and growth of popularity of opposition, deferred reforms and delayed tranches from the fund. The press-service of the agency reports that the near-term prospect of political consequences of current developments is not clear yet.
Fitch thinks that the minority government or new elections will only add the uncertainty regarding the ability of the government of Ukraine to implement reforms, which are crucially important for the IMF program.
