Groisman claimed again about the readiness to head the Cabinet of Ministers, criticizing the reforms of current government.
The candidate for Prime Minister’s post stated that due to reforms of the Cabinet of Ministers Ukrainians had to tighten their belts, Correspondent reports.
The current government reforms had only negative consequences for the public, but were not effective, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groisman stated, emphasizing that parliamentarian factions should create the new Cabinet of Ministers, which he agrees to head.
“This government should establish dialog with society perfectly clearly, his actions should be understandable to people. Any reform does not have only a bad side, because in principle we have everything OK with bad effects of reforms: so people suffer, people tighten their belts. But I think that each medal has two sides: one is painful, and this definitely should be done, and second is the one, which can give optimism and provide the concrete decision for concrete question; this is what Ukrainian government needs”, Groisman said.
He noted that he has a clear vision, which can be divided into three positions: firstly – plan of actions, which should “lead the country out of the existing situation”; secondly – there should be a strategy of this or that reform, “strategic vision of what economy model should be built; third – quality of management”.
“I am confident that if I am given the opportunity to be supported by the real reformatory coalition, if I am given the opportunity to form in the government the main body, consisting of those people, who are ready to implement real, honest and open reforms, I can take responsibility”- Groisman said in his video message in Facebook.
He also stated that the current “political week is crucial” in order to find ways of overcoming the crisis.
Recently Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk said that there is not any real alternative for the program of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Last week Groisman claimed about the readiness to head the Cabinet of Ministers if he, as the candidate, is supported by factions of coalition.
