Ukraine has increased the import of natural gas through Slovakia’s territory through Voyany-Uzhhorod gas pipeline by 58.4% or by 1.411 mln cub.m/day up to 3.826 mln cub.m/day, starting from April 16, Ukrainian News inform.
It is evidenced by the operational data of the operator of Slovakia’s gas transportation system Eustream.
Within the period between April 1-17 through Slovakia, as per operational data Eustream, 46,016 mln cub.m of gas were imported.
As it was reported, Slovakia’s GTS operator Eustream states the possibility of gas measurement station (entry point to GTS) Budentse to receive natural gas in reverse regime to the direction from Ukraine to Slovakia from April 1.
NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” notes that the bidirectional operating mode of the gas pipeline between Ukraine and Slovakia “Voyany - Uzhgorod” is ensured by virtual reverse as well as physical switching-over of compressors.
