The foreigners have invested UAH 8.18 billion in Ukraine, Correspondent.net reports.
The amount of foreign capital investments in Ukraine in 2015 made up UAH 8.18 billion, which is by 45.1% more than in the previous year, the Finclub reports, quoting State Statistics data.
Thus, the investments from state budget in 2015 increased 2.5 times – to UAH 6.919 billion, from local budgets – 2.4 times – to UAH 14.260 billion.
The amount of public funds for residential construction increased 1.5 times and made up UAH 31.965 billion.
The State Statistics also notes that the total amount of capital investments in 2015 made up UAH 273.116 billion, which is almost by 20% more than the previous year.
It should be reminded that the European Investment Bank disburses Ukraine the loan, amounting to €800 million. According to bankers, the EIB’s total loan portfolio in Ukraine is EUR 4.3 billion, but “in fact these funds are not collected. This is a problem. We have much money, which are just remaining here”.
