The financial experts consider that our companies often need intellectual capital in the form of expertise in business development, UBR reports.
The small and medium businesses of Ukraine do not need financial resources, but first of all, they need intellectual capital in the form of knowledge on development, running and administration of business. Namely their absence, inability to concretize tasks and build ways of their solution, impede most SMB representatives to survive during crisis periods, for example, as during 2008-2009, Manager of the National Program, EBRD Small Business Support Group in Ukraine Catherine Rigg said during the interview to UBR.ua.
“Until 2008, especially it tried to compensate with loan resources those problems and tasks, which small and medium businesses faced with, that in ineffectiveness. This is incorrect. Many tasks for MSB cannot be solved at the expense of loans. This is the lack of expertise and examinations on the way of SMB development”, she noted.
