The total export volume of agricultural products made up USD 5.7 bln, Correspondent.net reports.
The export of agricultural products from Ukraine to EU countries increased by 24% for five months of 2016 versus the same period of 2015 and made up USD 1.8 billion, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vladislav Rutitskaia in Facebook.
“The export of agricultural products makes up 41.8% from the total export, and this is USD 5.7 bln. The advocates of the European Integration have victory: national manufacturers have already exported to EU countries the products for the amount of USD 1.796 bln. The export increased by 23.9% for this period versus the last year”, Rutitskaya wrote.
The Deputy Minister noted that versus the same period of 2015 the volume of proceeds from the export of agricultural products increased by 2.4%, and the external trade turnover increased by 4.3%.
In January-May the leading positions in regional export structure were taken by Asian countries, where 43.6% from overall supplies were delivered. The proceeds from the supplies to Asia made up USD 2.5 bln.
