The Public Enforcement Service seized Ukrgasbank’s accounts, the bank’s press-office reported on Monday, August 1, Correspondent.net reports.
It is noted that on July 29 NBU sent to Ukrgasbank the e-mail that the Public Enforcement Service Department of the Ministry of Justice seized bank’s funds.
The funds were seized based on the order of the Economic Court of the city of Kyiv on collection of funds from the bank in favor of Ukrconcept.
“As of July 30 the bank received neither resolution on initiating the enforcement proceeding, nor resolution on seizing the borrower’s funds, and the bank appealed the decision of the Economic Court at the cassation instance”, as it was reported in Ukrgasbank.
On July 29 the bank also filed complaints to the Ministry of Justice, the Public Enforcement Service as well as filed a solicitation on revocation of payment requirements and postponement of enforcement actions till the decision of the High Economic Court.
“The management board of Ukrgasbank is extremely concerned about the attempt to illegally gain possession over bank’s funds”, the bank noted.
