As part of the hearing in the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC filed reimbursement claims for the amount of more than USD 26.6 billion by Gazprom, as it is said in the message of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC, the Economic Truth reports.
“Only for cases with “Gazprom” the amount of claims against us – USD 38.7 bln with interests, the amount of claims on our part – more USD 26.6 bln. The hearing on both proceedings has been appointed for autumn”, - the company’s message says.
Previously Chairman of the Management Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC Andrei Kobolev noted that the company expects for the decision at the beginning of Stockholm arbitrage on both claims in early 2017.
According to Kobolev, the hearings on sale and purchase contract are scheduled for late September, on transit contract – for late November - early December.
Gazprom reportedly expects for the decision of Stockholm arbitrage regarding the contract with “Naftogaz” on gas supply in late 2016 – early 2017, on transit – in late January 2017.
