The self-employed Ukrainians will be bound to register with tax authorities and pay 10% from minimum salary per month.
The Ministry of Finance plans to introduce taxes for self-employed Ukrainians. This is indicated in the draft tax reform on the department’s site.
The preliminary version of amendments has been posted here. The comparative tables of the document occupy 155 pages.
The draft suggests introducing the additional tax for self-employed entrepreneurs, who do not have hired employees. Their annual revenue should not exceed 250 amounts of minimum wage (up to UAH 344 ths).
The document stipulates a 10% pay by the entrepreneurs from minimum salary per month. In addition, such entrepreneurs should register with tax authorities.
Meanwhile, the document has the list of professions, which are subject to taxation. The list includes marketers, shoemakers and tailors, car and equipment mechanics. The list also includes manicurists, barbers and cosmetologists, tutors, cab drivers and nurses, looking after ill persons. It also includes cleaning ladies, handmade artists, who sell their products through Internet.
The draft amendments will be discussed and developed. Meanwhile, it is reported that the purpose of amendments is to decrease pressure on business and create conditions for its development.
