The agreement on free trade with Ukraine was brought before the parliament of Canada for ratification, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Canada Andrei Shevchenko wrote in his Facebook on Tuesday, September 20.
“The Canada’s government brought into the parliament the agreement on the free trade between Ukraine and Canada for ratification, it was done on the first day of the autumn parliamentary session”, he wrote.
According to Shevchenko, in 21 sessional days the government of Canada will bring in the draft laws for implementation.
“Now it is the turn of Ukrainian Government and the Verkhovna Rada”, - the ambassador added.
According to Correspondent.net, in August Ukraine started negotiations with Canada on the visa-free regime between countries.
