259 UAH socks for frontier guards
2 July Military Unit 1471 of the State Border Service of Ukraine, after holding a tender entered into a number of agreements for the purchase of clothing and bed linen for 38.77 million UAH. This was reported in the «Visnyk Derzhavnykh Zakypivel», according to «Nashi Hroshi».
In addition to combatant clothing and accessories such as straps and buttons, the Central storage and supply base of the Border Service purchased summer socks (Coolmax) at 259.00 UAH for couple. These socks are made of DuPont polyester fiber, which removes moisture from the inside of the fabric.
Another procurement includes tracksuits at 539 UAH, thermal underwear Level 1 protection at 598.00 UAH per kit, Kevlar tactical gloves at 396 UAH per pair.
All contracts were concluded with two companies: LLC MC «DiSi Company» (2.95 million UAH) and «Union of disabled workers 'ACO' Relief Fund and the Protection of Disabled of Ukraine» (35.83 million UAH). Other companies also submitted their tender proposals, yet all competitors of the two companies were rejected due to objections to the products and procedural faults.
«Union of disabled workers» is headed by Mykola Nychyporenko, known as the founder of «Ukroboronexport» and «Ukrspetsoboroneksport».
The President of Charitable Fund Relief and Protection of Disabled of Ukraine is Igor Stolyarenko, who ran for Parliament in one of the electoral districts in Kyiv last year.
