The rail carrier Gazpromtrans introduced amendments to the terms of dispatch of its own rail tankers with LPG on the territory of Ukraine, Finance.ua reports.
Gazpromtrans reports that due to frequent occasions of demurrage of rail tankers on the territory of Ukraine, the company needs to suspend shipment to Ukrainian companies and their non-residents, which were put under the sanctions of the Ministry of Economic Development.
In regard to other contractors, the carrier introduced additional terms of cooperation. In particular: the receipt of financial guarantees in the form of security deposit, equivalent to 30-day demurrage of the car beyond RF, as well as the reimbursement of market value of the rolling stock in case of damage or loss of cars as well as its non-return to the RF territory within 60 days from the crossing of border crossing.
It should be noted that since February 10, Gazpromtrans reported on the temporary suspension of dispatch of its own and leased tankers for transportation of the liquefied gas in Ukraine.
It should be reminded that on February 8, upon SSSU’s recommendation, Ukrzaliznytsia PJSC prolonged the demurrage for 161 rail tankers with the liquefied gas on the territory of Ukraine, which are already blocked for about 2 months.
In its turn, SSSU is also the initiator of sanctions against the largest Ukrainian importers of oil products and their non-residents, which were imposed by the Ministry of Economic Development on February 6, 2017.
