Deliveries will increase by 30-40%
Iraq canceled embargo for Ukrainian farmers in direct delivery of products to Iraq. Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhnyuk and Minister of Trade of the Republic of Iraq Hayrallah Hasan Babeker agreed about it, as RBC-Ukraine informs.
In connection with this agreement the supply of domestic agricultural production to the market of Iraq is expected to increase by 30-40%.
From now on Ukrainian farmers will not use services of third countries to supply Iraq with products. So, working with Iraqi importers without intermediaries will significantly reduce the cost of agricultural exports to Iraq.
According to advisor of Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Abdulah Bani Nasser, due cancelling embargo the volumes of Ukrainian agricultural exports to Iraq could increase by 30-40%.
Also during the meeting ministers discussed prospects for increasing supplies of Ukrainian agricultural products to Iraq, including grain and grain processing products, vegetable oil, meat, eggs and dairy products.
