Index of volume of investments in the economy of Ukraine through instruments of the stock market during January - June 2013 amounted to 57.62 billion UAH, compared to the same period in 2012 it increased by 7.27 billion UAH, indicating a growing interest in this instrument, the press service of SSMNC informs.

As for the vectors of collective investment institutions, during January - June 2013 the Commission registered the volume of issues of investment certificates at AMC Mutual Fund amounting to 18.46 billion UAH, an increase of 8.69 billion UAH, compared with data for the same period in 2012, in turn, the amount of registered shares of CIF decreased by 6.32 billion UAH, compared to the previous year and amounted to 1.97 billion UAH.

Please note that the cost of investment and pension funds in the first quarter of 2013, according to experts of the Commission, made up 161.6 billion UAH, while last year, according to the first quarter, the figure was 134.15 billion UAH.

In addition, we emphasize that the ratio of capitalization of leasing companies to GDP in the first quarter of 2013 was 22.85%, while such figure as the share exchange market in the first quarter also showed growth and reached 23.28%.

Let’s recall that in the first half of this year, the volume of exchange-traded contracts in securities during January - June 2013 amounted to 187.93 billion UAH, that over the previous year was up to 89.49% (January - June 2012 it stood at 99.18 bn. UAH). The largest trading volume was recorded on government bonds of Ukraine (140.16 billion UAH, or 74.58% of the total volume of exchange-traded contracts), corporate bonds (21.67 billion UAH, or 11.53%).
