Ukraine raised $55.3 billion
Since the beginning of 2013 Ukraine increased the volume of foreign direct investment to $55.3 billion, 0.4% up from the same period of 2012, the press service of the State Statistics Service says.
During the first 6 months of 2013, foreign investors directed $2.6 billion to the Ukrainian economy.
Total volume of investment includes $42.8 billion from EU countries, $4.4 billion from the CIS, $8.1 billion from other countries.
From the year start, investment flowed from 138 countries (Cyprus, Germany, the Netherlands leading among them).
