Volodymyr Groisman gave the relevant order during the session of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman ordered the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to simplify the procedures for using cash registers in the business sector, he stated during the government session today, the correspondent of RBC-Ukraine reports.
“I gave the order to develop the decision on the deregulation in the sphere of cash registers. There the market is overregulated; it causes corruption. I insist that we develop all necessary decisions on the deregulation of cash registers… We need to simplify the system of cash registers”, the Prime Minister emphasized.
It should be reminded that on July 2015, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine endorsed the draft law in the second reading, which allows installing cash registers after exceeding the revenue, amounting to UAH 1 million.
Thus, 248 people’s deputies with the minimum requirement of 226 votes voted for the draft law №1088 On Introduction of Amendments to the Law of Ukraine On Use of Cash Registers in Trade, Food Industry and Services” (regarding the public guarantees for business entities in the use of cash registers).
