Victor Yanukovich’s son Alexander filed a lawsuit against the National Bank in the Pechersk District Court.
The respective information is contained on the website of Pechersk District Court, EP reports.
The lawsuit was registered on Thursday, August 10.
Yanukovich attempts to make the National Bank reimburse losses. No more details of this case were given.
Larisa Tsokol was appointed as the judge, who will consider this question.
As known, Yanukovich owned 100% shares of the All-Ukrainian Development Bank.
In 2015, the court arrested UAH 2.75 bln on AUDB’s accounts in the case concerning the illegal financing of railroad. But in December 2016, some AUDB’s depositors managed to remove attachment from accounts. O. Kostilov, who has the account with IIB, is among these depositors.
According to the version of the prosecutor’s office, in 2011, “the organized group, involving bank employees, was created for legalization of the proceeds from crime” in Yanukovich’s bank. For masking the origin of proceeds, the bank employees placed them at their deposit accounts by concluding loan agreements of these funds with Mr. Yashar Khodzhaev.
