National Bank of Ukraine orders to translate all currency transfers into hryvnia
This means that if you were sent a money transfer in foreign currency, in Ukraine the money will be deposited to your bank account in the national currency equivalent.
If you wish to replenish your foreign currency account, you can do this from your other current account or deposit the currency through the bank office. If a foreign person wishes to put funds on their foreign exchange account at the cash desk, they will be required to provide documents to prove the sources of the money.
