The General Prosecutor’s Office initiated the criminal proceeding against NABU director Artem Sytnyk due to the probable disclosure of investigation data, UT reports quoting GPOU’s sources.
As the interlocutors reported, Sytnyk can be called in for questioning on Friday, November 17.
However, the NABU’s director is not in Ukraine. According to UT, Sytnyk went on business trip to Portugal.
GPOU initiated the criminal proceeding, based on the audio recording, posted via Internet, where a man with the voice, similar to Sytnyk’s voice, tells journalists the details of some high-profile cases.
On Wednesday, during the anticorruption committee’s session, the deputy Anton Gerashchenko encouraged GPOU to initiate the case and check this recording.
