The National Agency for Preventing Corruption (NAPC) accuses Kyiv’s mayor and Chairman of the City State Administration Vitalii Klichko of the violation of procedure of appointment of KCSA employees, according to the press service of NAPC, Ukrainian News reports.
It is noted that as per the results of conducted inspection in KCSA, certain violations the requirements of the Law on Preventing Corruption were established.
“In particular, KCSA’s anticorruption program was not approved within the set time limits, the opportunity to post the message about corruption on the official website of the body was not ensured, the decision on appointing 2 men for the positions… was taken without special inspection”, the message says.
In addition, during the inspection, it was established that Kyiv City Administration did not inform NAPC about 37 facts of non-provision or untimely provision of declarations by the former employees of the organ.
NAPC brought in the order to Klichko and demands to eliminate the detected violations, conduct internal investigation and take the respective measures on its results.
