Kyiv budget 2013 to be amended
Changes to the Kyiv city budget for 2013, prepared by the Kyiv City State Administration, will allow to promptly pay salaries to employees of public sector and communal enterprises, and to pay financial assistance to low-income Kyivites. This is stated in the message of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine resolved to reallocate government expenditure and provide for an increase in Kyiv's municipal budget, namely:
- additional subsidies to equalize financial security in the amount of 104 million UAH for salaries to public sector employees;
- additional subsidies for payment of assistance for the care of disabled of I or II group due to mental consideration in the amount of 4.6 million UAH;
- subventions to compensate for travel privileges of certain categories of citizens in the amount of 50 million UAH.
Also amendments provide for distribution of supplementary source of a special fund amounting to 6.9 million UAH at the expense of expected additional receipts by year-end of funds from payment for the right of temporary use of sites for the location of outdoor advertising objects, directing them to:
- to carry out repairs of housing stock amounting to 1.9 million UAH;
- to pay wages to employees of public companies that work on the operation and maintenance of street and road network amounting to 5 million UAH.
