The strategy of further development of state banks is will allegedly be presented to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in one-two weeks, Minister of Finance Alexander Danyliuk said, Finance.ua reports.
“It was a very qualitative, constructive discussion. Everything is aimed at the result. We agreed that during three days, we will receive the proposals of people’s deputies (regarding the Strategy of State Banks), and then we will process them and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers”, he said to the journalists after the session of the Parliamentary Committee for Financial Policy and Banking in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Acting Head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Yakov Smolii also confirmed the presence of the respective agreement.
“We discussed the position of the Ministry of Finance on the strategy of state banks. There were active discussions. During three days, the Ministry of Finance will obtain the proposals of the National Bank, people’s deputies and will submit the document to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval”, he said.
