All «pros» and «cons» to be weighed
Draft resolution on tariffs for the transportation of passengers and the cost of tickets in the city passenger transport that was recently published on the website of the KCSA will be subject to public debate during a month, the deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration Mykhailo Kostiuk announced during a press briefing.
«During the month we will weigh all «pros» and «cons»: consider requests, suggestions and calculations. There will be discussion between technicians and debates among economists. Only after that will we make the appropriate decision. However, we are doing everything possible to prevent an increase of bulk transportation services. We're working hard to make the cost of tickets unchanged», Mykhailo Kostiuk said.
It should be noted that the current price of fares on public transport is valid from November 2008. During this period there were significant changes in the economy, resulting in transport utilities receiving substantial losses in 2012 from regular passenger transportation.
