Experts of Revenues Ministry continue to fight for the legalization of labor relations

It would seem that these days «envelope» salaries are no surprise - it's a usual thing for both employers and workers themselves, but by no means for the authorities. And there is only one question: «Why do Ukrainians so readily accept the «dirty money «? Perhaps most of them think that at first glance there is nothing wrong? But only so long until the need arises to draw a bank loan or to provide a formal statement of income, such as for trips abroad, argues the press service of Holosiivsky district STI of the Central Administration of the Revenues Ministry in Kyiv.

According to the observations of experts Holosiivsky district STI, staff in industries like «Beauty and Health», «Catering and cooking», «Advertising and media» are most likely to be paid «in envelopes».

Yet another confirmation was a routine check of economic activities of a Kyiv’s business in «Beauty and Health». Tax officers learned that the individual entrepreneur provided physical comfort services to the public (sauna, SPA and body treatments) without proper registration of personnel, withholding and transferring the tax from incomes paid to individuals.

Unfortunately, many people in the pursuit of money mistakenly believe that the most important advantage is the «envelope» is a high level of income. And for the sake of this they agree to disregard unpaid sick leave, lack of rights at the workplace and a distant retirement. Yet the deal is no trifle indeed. Taking into account at least that during work from May 2010 to August 2012 one of the employees of beauty received UAH 156,000 in wages. But is the money worth such effects?

Based on the inspection the individual entrepreneur was additionally charged more than 105 thousand UAH payable into the state treasury. In addition, audit materials have been referred to prosecutors of Holosiivsky district in Kyiv.
