Naftogaz launches new opportunities of the gas purchase for industrial consumers, to which the regulation on special obligations does not apply, the company’s press office reports, Finance.ua reports.
According to the updated price list of the company, as of March 2, the natural gas price of the company is UAH 8,822.40 for 1,000 cubic meters (VAT inclusive).
Such price is actual provided that the gas is delivered in the underground gas storages of Ukrtransgas.

Gazprom decided to terminate contracts with Naftogaz.
In response, Petro Poroshenko claimed that the contract between Gazprom and Naftogaz of Ukraine does not provide for the right of its unilateral termination.
On March 1, Ukrtransgaz stated that there is the low pressure in main gas pipelines at the entry to Ukrainian GTS. Then Naftogaz of Ukraine appealed with the request to Ukrainians to turn down pressure in boilers due to the actions of Russia’s Gazprom.
Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC decided to immediately purchase gas from Polish company PGNiG after Russia’s Gazprom denied supplying gas to Ukraine.
