In April 2018, the Russian gas transit to European countries through the Ukrainian gas transportation system was 7.4 bln cub. m. that is 1.3% less than the same period of the last year, Advisor to Minister of Energy and Coal Mining Maxim Beliavsky informed UNN.
“In April, the gas transit to Europe was at 7.4 bln cub.m., while 7.5 bln cub.m. were transported during the same period of the last year”, he said.
Beliavsky also told that in April, 0.5 bln cub. m. of gas were pumped to the underground storages that is the same level as in the last year.
As UNN reports, the Russian gas transit through Ukraine’s territory in January-March 2018 decreased by 13.3% up to 20.095 bln cub. m. versus the same period of the last year.
