The people’s deputies prepared the draft law on cryptocurrency legalization and market regulation in Ukraine, People’s Deputy Alexei Mushak wrote in Facebook.
“We are in the final stretch on creating conditions for tokens and cryptocurrencies in Ukraine”, Mushak wrote and attached the document with draft law wording on the general market regulation.
“It is the working results of many people and meetings. The final version will be ready in two weeks. Please comment and edit. The opinions of market insiders are especially important”, he wrote.
It is noted in the text that the purpose of the law is the creation of rules of operating with cryptocurrencies, tokens and smart contracts for the country, legal entities and individuals, creation of free and transparent market of tokens and cryptocurrencies in Ukraine, free mining, use, storage and exchange of digital valuables (tokens and cryptocurrencies) by applying the technology of distributed ledger of digital transactions.
Reportedly, the law provides for prevention of risks of using tokens and cryptocurrencies for money laundering and terrorism financing.
