Alfa-Bank sold the business center Renaissance and the part of Toronto-Kiev to the owner of furniture company Merx Vadim Grigoriev and the largest commercial concrete producer in the capital –Kovalska Group, as the sources informed, liga.net reports.
Vice President, Director for Investment and Development Projects of Alfa-Bank Ukraine and Ukrsotsbank Irina Skorokhodova confirmed the sale.
The bank refused to specify the buyer’s same and the amount of sale. According to the estimates of Sergey Kostetsky, the expert of SV Development, 7.5 ths sq. m. of Toronto-Kyiv cost $11 mln, and Renaissance BC – up to $25 mln.
“Vadim Grigoriev, the owner of Merx Group, purchased Renaissance, and Kovalska Group purchased the part of Toronto Kiev”, the investment banker reported off the record. Other market players confirmed this information.
The industrial and construction group Kovalska really purchased the part of Toronto-Kiev facilities, CEO of Kovalska Group Sergei Pilipenko told. According to him, the deal was closed in late April. He declined to specify the amount of the deal.
Kovalska specializes in the residential construction. The purchase of the office center became the first one for the group on the commercial real estate market.
Business Center Toronto-Kyiv is in the center of the city. Its total area is 83.9 ths sq. m. The larger part is registered for the legal entity and belongs to the investment fund Dragon Capital, Head of Strategic Consulting Department of UTG Rostislav Simonov told.
