IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Goesta Ljungman considers positive the appointment of the members of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia, he commented to ET.
According to him, the process selection of candidates for the supervisory boards of public organizations was recently significantly reformed, which is a positive fact.
“The thoroughly structured and transparent procedures of nomination of independent members of supervisory boards in combination with overall assessment of all candidates to these boars strengthen the prospects of improvement of corporate management of state enterprises”, IMF Representative stated.
“The first testing of this updated process was the recent selection of candidates to the Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia and this test is encouraging”, Ljungman summarized.
It should be reminded that on June 20, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the candidates for the members of the Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia PJSC.
