A regulator’s meeting
At its regular meeting convened on July 24, 2014, the State Commission for Securities and Stock Market of Ukraine decided to approve the procedure for submitting information by competent rating agencies», the press-office of the ministerial department reports.
Alla Papika, Director of Corporate Management and Corporate Finance at SCSSM, told: «The Commission made some adjustments to the process of giving information by competent rating agencies and brought it in compliance with the existing legislation. This document sets out terms, the procedure itself and forms which recognized rating agencies should use to fill out the information about their work when submitting it to the regulator. Thus, owing to approval of the information form proposed by the regulator, the process of submitting information will reflect current market conditions, while the data to be revealed by its participants will be full and detailed».
The procedure has been worked out in compliance to Laws of Ukraine On Government Regulation of the Securities Market in Ukraine and On Financial Services and Government Regulation of the Financial Services Market.
The document has been handed over to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine to undergo obligatory registration.
