The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine is going to lessen a number of ownership registers from 36 up to 4, the Minister for Justice Pavlo Petrenko said earlier today at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports.
“The next step Ukraine should undertake is to streamline the registration process. For today, there are 36 registers that contain the data about property and its status possessed both by citizens and legal entities. Now, together with the European institutions and international organizations, we are elaborating the mechanism of keeping data in the four basic registers that will consolidate the information about citizens and the status of property... This is actually a move to stemming the red tape... Thus, I will ask the Cabinet members to support this proposal”, - said Petrenko.
