The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has simplified the access of consumers to the information on supplies of water, heating, energy and other communal resources. The corresponding presidential draft law №2505а “On Specifics of Access to Information in the Spheres of Electricity, Natural Gas, Heating, Central Hot Water, Central Water and Drainage Supplies” has been endorsed in the second reading by 242 people’s deputies, RBC-Ukraine reports.
As it is reported, the law is aimed at ensuring transparency in activities of business entities.
The law proposes to ensure the unobstructed and free obtaining of information about the data concerning prices and tariffs for resources, its qualities, real volumes of consumption and other information, for example, on the issues of investment programs, sources of their financing, attracted loans and their intended use in this sphere.
