The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has approved the qualifying shareholding of owners of four banks. The corresponding decision has been adopted by the Committee on Banking Supervision, Regulation, and Payment Systems Monitoring (Oversight), NBU press-service reports.

In particular, the regulator has approved the acquisition of the qualifying shareholding in the amount of about 57% of PJSC “Policombank” for associated persons Nikolai, Yurii, and Alexander Tarasovets. According to NBU data, at the beginning of 2015 the bank ownership structure made it impossible to identify real final beneficiaries of financial institution.

The acquisition of direct qualifying shareholding in the amount of 50% in PJSC “Finexbank” has been approved for Anna Sidorova (citizen of Latvia), while at the beginning of current year there was no controller at the bank, and there was only one owner of the qualifying shareholding for less than 50% - Sergei Osmukhin.

The increase of direct qualifying shareholding in the amount of 87.7% in PJSC “Agrocombank” has been approved for Vladimir Drobot, while at the beginning of 2015 his shareholding did not exceed 25%, and remaining shares were dispersed among 10 individuals, neither of whom was the owner of qualifying shareholding.

Also, in PJSC “Alliance Bank” the acquisition of the mediated qualifying shareholding was approved in the amount of 73% for Alexander Sosis. At the beginning of current year in the bank there were no owners of the qualifying shareholding, and its shares were allocated between persons, neither of whom had more than 10%.

According to the NBU data, the process of legalization of the ownership structure of these four banks was at final stage.
