Letter of Ministry of Social Policy of 16.04.2013 №54/06/186-13
Ministry of Social Policy in the letter dated 16.04.2013 №54/06/186-13 explained the issue of correcting errors in the work record book.
If the error in the surname of the employee in the work record book, was made at one of the previous jobs, the Ministry allows correcting it. Changing entries in labor books of the surname, first name, patronymic and birthdate are made by the owner or the authorized body for the last position on the grounds of documents (passports, birth certificates, marriage, divorce, change of name, the name 'I am the middle, etc.) and with reference to the number and date of those documents.
The changes are made on the front page of the workbook. One dash crosses out, for example, the name written with the error, then write down the correct one with reference to relevant documents on the inside of the cover and attest with signature of the chief of enterprise or specially authorized person and seal or stamp of the personnel department.
