Draft law developed
The relevant draft order «On granting enterprises the status of authorized economic operator», developed by the Ministry experts, is posted on the official web-site of the Ministry of revenue and duties of Ukraine, informs the press service of the agency.
The resulting status will provide companies the right to use special simplifications defined by the Customs Code of Ukraine. In particular, companies will be able to automatically provide to customs offices declared customs value at minimum set of documents placed without customs warehouses for goods, unload it and remove the seals and so on.
To obtain the status of authorized economic operator a company should carry out foreign economic activities at least three years, meet certain requirements, including on reporting, solvency and safety standards.
According to experts of Revenues Ministry designed order will facilitate implementation of European standards on regulation of foreign economic activity. Thereby national standards of customs procedures will approach European ones, and this in turn will simplify customs control in the EU for the Ukrainian enterprises which are transparent and have sound reputation.
