Equipment can be updated before 1 January 2014
Ministry of Revenues' System for storage and data collection from registers for settlement transactions is connected to almost 197 thousand cash registers. This represents over 81% of registers, the Ministry’s press service informs.
Those taxpayers that have not yet converted their equipment can do so without financial loss to themselves before 1 January 2014. After that date liability for failure to submit electronic reporting is imposed.
From 2013 users of cash registers must report to Ministry of Revenues' bodies electronically. To this end registers for settlement transactions should be equipped with electronic bands, which will be formed as a copy of settlement documents and fiscal reports. Taxpayers can either connect to existing cash registers appropriate modems for data transmission, or purchase new equipment.
The list of models of settlement transaction registers permitted for use is posted on the portal of Ministry of Revenues.
