Tesla’s Vice President of Worldwide Finance and Operations Justin MacAnear announced his resignation, the internet edition Business Insider informed on Wednesday, UNN reports.
"A few weeks ago, I announced to my team that I was going to leave Tesla, since I had a chance to become the financial director of another company", the edition quotes MacAnear.
He also emphasized that any speculation about his departure is incorrect. "I really respect my colleagues and the work they do, but I just ca not miss this opportunity. Any speculation about the reasons for my departure is incorrect", he said. MacAnear will leave the company on October 7.
A week ago, two high-ranking employees left Tesla – Head of Huma Resources Gabrielle Toledano and Chief Accounting Officer Dave Morton.
As UNN reported, the investor Andrew Left, founder and head of the analytical company Citron Research, filed a lawsuit to the federal court in California against Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk in connection with his previously announced plans to buy back stocks of his company, from which he subsequently refused.
