Relevant draft law developed
UK Parliament has developed a draft law which suggests that restaurants, food producers and food vendors are given a limit on the food scraps, which, if exceeded, will lead to fines, BBC reports.
British MPs are convinced the country throws away too much food. Recent studies suggest that the average British family throws about 20% of food and drinks.
In addition to limitations and fines, proponents of innovation want to introduce a system of beneficial use of products discarded.
