Ukraine has fulfilled its task, EC representative considers, Correspondent.net reports.
Ukraine can obtain visa-free regime with the European Union countries in this October, EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Policies Johannes Hahn said.
“In October this (decision of EU Council on granting the visa-free regime for Ukraine) should be, I hope, approved. It is still early to congratulate, but I think that all agree that Ukraine fulfilled its task – more than 140 items. Good job!” – Hahn said during the joint press-conference with Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman in Brussels on Tuesday.
It should be noted that President of European Parliament Martin Schulz considers that the internal procedures, related to UK withdrawal from the European Union, will not influence the European Parliament’s readiness to introduce visa-free regime for Ukrainians.
