The candidate for the President of France, the former Prime Minister Francois Fillon claimed that the position of US President Donald Trump poses global threat, RIA News reports.
“To be honest, the current Trump’s position is unpredictable and, in some sense, dangerous, poses global threat”, Fillon said in the interview to Europe1. According to him, “he must not make military intervention everywhere in the world”. Fillon considers that “it is an old method of the Wild West – first shoot, then discuss”.
“I will never accept the return of the Cold War between two world’s largest nuclear-weapon arsenals, as Russia and the USA”, Fillon said. He added that France should side with neither of the parties, but have “its independent voice”.
The presidential instructions in France will have two tours – April 23 and May 7.
